Hopefully as much people as possible got the chance
to enjoy the Zombie Walk in Sydney today. While
many people were there for good fun, others
marched to make a point. The Video Game Industry
in Australia lacks an "R" rating for games, meaning
we don't get the same games as the rest of the
world!!
Rather, Australia often receives watered-down
versions of games, or has games banned, due to a
lack of R rating. Today's walk aimed to raise
awareness of this issue.
Sure, people are fighting for equality for Tibet and
Gay/Lesbian citizens, but Fairness for Gamers is an
important issue too! Let the gamers' voices be heard,
and let there be heaps of guts and brains in the
process.
