| Frost's Fortress is a parallel story to Zack Welder's Diary of an Undead Teenager. Vincent Frost is a twenty-six year old living a painfully ordinary life. Every day he follows the same routine, goes to the same real estate office and performs the same job, day after day. This is not the life Frost wanted to live. Now facing quarter-life crisis, the only thing exceptional in his life is a fully operating "Zombie Fortress", built as a joke and weekend getaway for him and his best friends. As Frost struggles to deal with depression, partly thanks to the financial strain resulting from building "The Fortress", people begin to disappear from Hunter's Hill, the nearest city to the Fortress. A relaxing weekend getaway turns into a desperate fight for survival as hordes of cannibals soon discover the location of Frost and his friends. It soon becomes apparent that the 'joke' Zombie Fortress may be the last safe place around for hundreds of miles. Frost and the other survivors are faced with the choices to either sit on their hands until their supplies run out or try to save as many other survivors as they can and bring them into the safety of The Fortress. |
